The Tupou Kava Company is a family-owned business offering Tongan Noble Kava grown on a family plantation on Vava’u Island, Tonga, using traditional cultivation methods passed down through generations.
The company was founded by siblings BA Hill and Katalina Barton and is named in honour of their Tongan grandparents, whose surname is Tupou.

The Tupou Kava Company was established to introduce Tongan Noble Kava to the Australian market while maintaining the cultural traditions connected to its cultivation.
The kava is grown on the family plantation in Vava’u Island using traditional farming practices that have been maintained over generations. The company’s foundation is rooted in heritage, family values, and a long-standing connection to Tonga and the South Pacific.
